Sum Faht is a practice that integrates mind, body, and spirit by combining traditional seated meditation in stillness with standing, walking and guided movement meditations. Sum Faht meditation activates the divine energies of the spiritual heart. In working with these energies we open the heart, become more intuitive, and more able to heal our selves and others.
Yoga class on Mondays with James Culbertson, “find your flow, balance, and rhythm”. Please bring your own mat and any other props (blocks, belt, pillows, etc.) you may need. We do have some available to rent if you forget yours.
We also have space in our on-site childcare during yoga. Please contact us for more information. Cost for each child is $8.
Qi Gong exercises practiced at PRAHM were developed by Leong Tan as a way to incorporate breathing, meridian activation, and meditation. These exercises are excellent for strengthening circulation and breathing. Jessica's instruction will include The Twelve Brocades, the
18 Tai Chi Moves as well as stretching.
The Twelve Brocades as taught at PRAHM were derived from the Ngo Kar martial art school, and modified by Leong Tan. They too are an internal breathing exercise and work with specific meridians of the body. These exercises are excellent for improving internal energy flow throughout the body.
